Xiaomi announced to launch new CC Series Cell Phones

With its new release, Xiaomi is targeting the millennials. It seems that Xiaomi doesn’t want to establish for one name and it has announced its third name CC Series after Redmi and Mi. While Redmi has recently moved to a separate sub-brand. In the beginning, it seemed that Xiaomi was going to establish its product collaborating with Meitu, rather than that it announced a new line up of Phones.

In today’s declaration, CEO of Xiaomi, Lei Jun introduced the CC series which will be targeting the millennials. The series is developed by “chic and cool” which is the post-1990s generation term and will release smartphones that are “productive”, “popular” and “splashy”.

The first phone of the series is said to be CC9 and CC9e, that have been trending on news due to its flip camera. The presence of the figure “9” in the product name is very interesting because it is highlighting the age of Xiaomi as Xiaomi is going to become 9 years of age this year.
